Rev. Duane Smith
Duane has served as Pastor & Elder at Sussex County Bible Church in Harbeson, DE, for the past 18 years. He was on the faculty of Eagle’s Nest Christian School in Milton, DE for three years. Duane currently serves on the board of Servant Leaders International. He and his wife Jennifer have two adult children and also serve as foster parents.
Jeremy McEntire
Jeremy is the Assistant Director at Polytech Adult Education and adjunct professor at Wilmington University. He currently serves as a deacon at Berean Community Church in Milford, DE. He formally served on the board of a classical school. Jeremy and his wife Jennifer have three adult children and one grand daughter.

Greg Louden
Greg is a retired financial adviser with Northwestern Mutual. He and his wife Susan helped establish Trinity Christian School in Morgantown, WV, where Greg served on the school board for a number of years. The Loudens have four adult children and 14 grandchildren.

Karen Barbrow
Mrs. Barbrow is a parent-teacher who is passionate about classical Christian education. She taught in a classical Christian school, homeschooled her three children classically for a number of years and also founded and directed a classical Christian homeschool co-op. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism & a Master's in Biblical Counseling.

Josh Brittingham
Mr. Brittingham comes to Legacy from New York state where he taught 8th grade for six years. He has a Bachelor's Degree in History from State University of New York at Geneseo and a Master's Degree in Education from Roberts Wesleyan College.
Office Manager
Doris Carder
Mrs. Carder has provided administrative assistance to all levels of management for many years. She uses her skills to make everyone’s day a little less stressful and feels that working at Legacy Academy is not a job but a blessing to be able to see God at work in the lives of the students.

Mrs. Barbrow is a parent-teacher who is passionate about classical Christian education. Susan Louden
3-5 Grade Lead Teacher
3-8 Latin
Mrs. Louden holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Penn State and a Master's Degree in Education from West Virginia University. She taught briefly in public school before homeschooling her two youngest children. Mrs. Louden and her husband, Greg, helped to start a Christian school where she taught for 10 years. She has taught history, government, and literature in both public and Christian schools.
